travis heights bungalow

These art collector clients had recently downsized from their Hill Country home, to a charming, but small, vintage-bungalow in the highly sought-after Travis Heights neighborhood in Austin. They turned to LMI for a light-touch renovation of their primary, and only, bathroom in the main house as well as interior decorating for the 5-room main house. "Light-touch" meant preserving the charm, retaining what was working well and injecting the right balance of new-meets-vintage to preserve the integrity of the vintage, historic appeal. Using their broad collection of paintings, sculptures and pottery as the jumping off point, LMI designed custom furniture to suit the small footprint with laser precision and added texture and interest with furnishings and lighting details. A modern table and lighting add the right balance of contemporary lines into the vintage, art-filled home.
